Brent Alan Bloomfield, 43, of Vanceburg, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at St. Claire Medical Center in Morehead.
Brent was born in Morehead on September 29, 1979, to the late Richard Alan Bloomfield, who died January 24, 2021, and Venetta Sue Blankenship Bloomfield of Vanceburg.
Brent worked as a laborer in construction and was a member of the Local 189 Lexington. He liked working in his garage tinkering and loved socializing with his friends there. Brent loved spending time with his family and friends and enjoying his beloved dog, “Midnite,” whom he raised.
Left to cherish Brent’s memories are his wife of eight years, Deborah Dunaway Bloomfield of Vanceburg; his mother, Venetta Sue Blankenship Bloomfield of Vanceburg; two sons, Caden Bloomfield and Eli Bloomfield, both of Vanceburg; two step-daughters, Alexis and Tyana Sudderth, both of Vanceburg; grandmother, Doris Stevens Bloomfield Richmond of Vanceburg; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive who will mourn his passing.
Services will be held Saturday, March 4, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Gaydos Funeral Home in Vanceburg with Bro. Ronnie Enix officiating. Burial will follow in Morgan Cemetery.
Pallbearers for Brent Alan Bloomfield will be Brandon Bloomfield, Todd Hampton, Caden Bloomfield, Eli Bloomfield, Stan Bloomfield, and Bobbie Bush.
