Roger “Butch” Lewis, 75, of Bucyrus, Ohio, passed away Friday, July 4, 2025, at his home.
He was born at Garrison on May 16, 1950, a son of the late Theodore and Edna Stander Lewis.
Butch was a retired tree trimmer and had lived most of his life in Bucyrus.
Survivors include his wife, Colleen Lewis, whom he married May 17, 2003; a daughter, Sherry (Lowell) Laser of Bucyrus; two sons, Ronald Lee Lewis and Chad (Amy) Lewis of Bucyrus; three sisters, Rose Mary Butler and Charlotte (Roger) Cooper of Vanceburg, and Betty (Robert) Sherman of Bucyrus; one brother, Ed (Kim McFarland) Lewis of Bucyrus; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Grace Lawhun; three brothers, Teddy Lewis, George Lewis, and Donald Lewis; and an infant great-granddaughter.
A graveside service will be at a later date in Waring Cemetery at Garrison.
Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home in Bucyrus, Ohio, is assisting the family with arrangements.
