Carl Donald Applegate, 37, of Tollesboro, passed away Sunday, June 30, 2024, at Auburn Health Care.
He was born in Rowan County on April 1, 1987, a son of the late Arthur Wayne and Grace Marie Gilbert Applegate.
Carl enjoyed fishing, going for drives, and watching NASCAR. He loved the Green Bay Packers.
Carl is survived by three sisters, Jeannie Stacy of Mt. Sterling, Laura Hollan of Richmond, and Christine Gillespie of Owingsville. Many other family members and friends also survive who will sadly miss him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Anthony Applegate and Paul Underwood Jr.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 5, 2024, at Tollesboro Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 11918 KY 57 at Tollesboro, with Bro. Phil Cropper officiating. Burial will follow in Galilee Church Cemetery at Tollesboro.
