Carol Faye Dyer, 70, of Vanceburg passed away Friday, January 1, 2016, following an extended illness.
Carol was born in Missoula, Montana, to the late Fred and Junia Daisey Cheesman. Carol was a member of the Evans Chapel Church since 1973. She loved to cook, sew, craft, loved gardening and spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. Carol would lend a helping hand to anyone that needed it.
Surviving are one daughter, Juanita (Phillip) Hall of Garrison; two sons, Russell “Rusty” (Melissa) Dyer of Vanceburg and William “Duffy” (Lisa) Dyer of Ashland; one sister Winnie (Clark) Emerson of Arkansas; one brother, John (Mary) Cheesman of St. Regis, Montana; six grandchildren, Jasmine (T.J.) Morgan, Megan Dyer, Crit Hall, Olivia Dyer, Drey Hall, and Hailey Dyer; and one great-grandchild, Carter Morgan.
Preceding her in death besides her parents were her husband of 50 years whom she married on August 26, 1963, William Clifford Dyer.
Services were held at 11:00 a.m. Monday January 4, 2016, with Pastor Ronnie Hall officiating. Burial followed in the Hannibal Cemetery, Vanceburg.
