Carolyn Carver McIntosh, 72, of Tollesboro, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at UK Medical Center after a short illness.
Born in Lewis County on September 23, 1951, her father was the late Albert Carver and her mother was the late Marie Latham Carver.
Carolyn worked for 46 years at Wald Manufacturing as an inspector and she enjoyed farming with her husband. She was an animal lover who loved her cats and her grand-dog.
Survivors include her husband of nearly 54 years, Jackie McIntosh; her son, Michael (Melissa) McIntosh; her granddaughter, Peyton (Dylan) Emmons; her three siblings, Pauline (Jimmy) Barbee, Janet (Rick) Morris, and Brenda (Sydney) Bloomfield; her two brothers-in-law, Delmer “PeeWee” Nickerson and Richard “Tiny” Sexton; along with several extended family members and friends.
In addition to her father Albert and her mother Marie, Carolyn was preceded in death by four of her siblings, Wanda Nickerson, Margaret Flack, Lorene Sexton, and Roy Carver.
Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home, 150 West Water Street in Flemingsburg.
