Cecil Linville Jr.

Cecil “June Bug” Linville Jr. passed away Saturday, March 18, 2023, as the result of a motor vehicle accident in Lewis County.

He was born in Robertson County on June 1, 1957, a son of the late Cecil and Hazel Collins Linville Sr.

June Bug leaves behind two sons, David Tyler Linville and Daniel (Amanda) Thomas Linville; a sister, Rosalind Mae Linville Curtis; 12 grandchildren, Weston, Matthew, Emily, Ryan, Tyler, Jesse, Tyler, Landon, Addalynn, Piper, Madeline, and Oliver; and two great-grandchildren, Bentley and Sophia.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Cecil Gene Linville; a brother, Ivan Earl Linville; and a sister, Janice Adamson.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at Robertson County Funeral Home.

Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Robertson County Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Henry conducting services. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to American Kidney Foundation, 11921 Rockville Pike Suite 300, Rockville, MD 20852.

Pallbearers will be David Linville, Matthew Applegate, David Moore, John Fryman, Junior Tilton, Kelly Jolly, and Allen Harding.
