Chad Allen Heater, 43, of Garrison, passed away at his home Sunday, November 20, 2022.
Chad was born at Maysville on October 8, 1979, a son of the late George and Kathy Lykins Heater. He worked for Carmeuse Lime Company in Maysville for 19 years. He loved watching college football and playing video games. Chad was an avid big game hunter and fisherman. He was of the Baptist faith and was a 1998 Lewis County High School graduate.
Left to cherish Chad’s memories are a brother, Josh (Jessica) Heater of Garrison; a stepdaughter, Makayla Ruggles; two nephews, Jason Heater and Caleb Heater; and several aunts and uncles who also will mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Melissa Howard Heater, and a brother, Jason Heater.
Services will be at Noon Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at Gaydos Funeral Home, 159 Second Street in Vanceburg, with Bro. Joe Watson officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Jason Howard, Zach Bannister, Donald Ginn, Randy Lykins, Ronnie Lykins, and Mikie Howard.
