Charles Paul Stacy, 67, of Vanceburg, passed away Monday, March 26, 2018, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio.
He was born July 23, 1950, in Lewis County, a son of the late Paul Stacy and Thelma Maxine King Polley.
Charlie was of the Christian faith and was a member of Monte Lewis Stamm VFW Post 5438. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and spending time with his family and friends.
Charlie is survived by three brothers, Jesse and Brenda Stacy of London, Ohio, Tony and Sandy Stacy of Sabina, Ohio, and Shawn Polley and Angela Downey of Nokesville, Virginia; and two sisters, Vickie and Don McBrayer of Morehead, and Shirley Underwood and Tim Edington of Vanceburg. He also leaves many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one infant sister, Ramona Polley.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 29, 2018, at Dickerson Funeral Home with Bro. Arthur Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Lewis County Memory Gardens at Black Oak.
Friends may visit from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2018, and after 9:00 a.m. Thursday at Dickerson Funeral Home, 110 West Second Street in Vanceburg.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
