Clariesa Scott Carroll, 72, of Wheelersburg, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at Concord Health and Rehabilitation in Wheelersburg, Ohio.
She was born January 4, 1951, in Lewis County, a daughter of the late Russell Edward and Clara Rogers Scott.
Clariesa enjoyed sewing, watching online auctions, and spending time with her church friends, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include two daughters, RaeAnn Bays of Portsmouth, Ohio, and Johnna Billman Montgomery (Joey) of West Portsmouth, Ohio; a son, Joe (Melanie) McKinnon of Lucasville, Ohio; five brothers, Russell Scott of Lucasville, Ohio, Eddie Scott of Vanceburg, Charles Blevins and Raymond Blevins of Lucasville, Ohio, and Johnny Blevins of South Carolina; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Many other family members and friends also survive who will sadly miss her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Sandra Blevins, and three brothers, Roger Scott, Jimmy Blevins and Anthony Blevins.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 11, 2024, at Dickerson Funeral Home, 110 West Second Street in Vanceburg, with Bro. Brian Holbrook officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Black Oak Cemetery.
Friends may visit after Noon Thursday, January 11, 2024, at Dickerson Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Blake Ruggles, Isaiah Stone, Joey Montgomery, Chuck Blevins, Rusty Blevins, and Joe McKinnon.
