Clyde Douglas Hampton, 59, of Emerson, passed away Thursday, August 8, 2024, at his home.
He was born March 1, 1965, in Joliet, Illinois, a son of the late Clyde Hampton and Mildred Joy Fultz Hampton.
Clyde proudly served his country in the United States Army and worked in telecommunications. He enjoyed watching western movies, going to drag races, riding horses, riding 4-wheelers, and spending time with his family.
Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, Danny and Paula Hampton of Vanceburg, along with many nieces and nephews, friends, and neighbors who will sadly miss him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, David Fultz, Robert Hampton, and Larry Joe “Moe” Hampton.
There will be no service at this time. Burial will follow at a later date in Hampton Cemetery at Emerson.
