Cortie Jamison Potter, 92, of Garrison, passed away Saturday January 22, 2022, at Community Hospice in Ashland.
She was born at Greenup on April 27, 1929, a daughter of the late John and Carrie Wolfe Jamison.
Cortie was a member of Faith Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, working in her flowers, and spending time with family.
Survivors include two sons, Dale (Linda) Potter of South Shore and Dee (Angie) Potter of Garrison, and two grandchildren, Michael (Shannon Porter) Potter and Beverly Potter. A host of other family members and friends also survive who will sadly mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Wayne Richard Potter; one son, Lonnie Potter; and seven brothers, Shannon Jamison, Shelby Jamison, Tifton Jamison, Paul Jamison, Pearl Jamison, RB Jamison, and Lovell Jamison.
A private service will be at Globe Family Funeral Chapel at Garrison with Bro. Jacob Sartin officiating. Burial will follow in Potter Cemetery at Garrison.
Family members will serve as pallbearers.
