The Lewis County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash Friday night.
Deputy Anthony Carrington said the incident happened shortly after 11:00 p.m. Friday on KY 8 just west of the Greenup County line.
Carrington said a 2008 Pontiac G6, operated by Cecil Linville Jr., 65, of Portsmouth, Ohio, was traveling east on the roadway when the vehicle traveled left of the roadway’s center line, went off the left side of the roadway and struck an embankment.
