Daniel Eugene Stone III, 38, of Olive Hill, passed away Thursday afternoon, January 16, 2025, as the result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle crash near Olive Hill.
He was born September 2, 1986, in Portsmouth, Ohio, a son of Teresa Dingus and the late Daniel Eugene Stone Sr.
Daniel was a self-employed mechanic and enjoyed working on cars, junking, and fishing.
In addition to his mother, who resides at Lucasville, Ohio, survivors include two daughters, Mikaylah Stone of Grayson and Danielle Stone of Olive Hill; one son, Anthony Stone of Olive Hill; two sisters, Eva Wilburn of Garrison and Tosha Bloomfield of Dry Ridge; and three brothers, Brian Jenkins of LaGrange, Daniel Eugene Stone Jr. of Quincy, and Dillon Stone of Bainbridge, Ohio. He also leaves behind a host of relatives and friends who will mourn his passing.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Donnie Jenkins and John Stone.
A Celebration of Life service will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 26, 2025, at Duvall and Moore Funeral and Cremation Service, 149 Whitt Street at Olive Hill, with Doug Reeves officiating.
Friends may visit after 1:00 p.m. Sunday, January 26, 2025, at Duvall and Moore Funeral Home.
