Darlene Tolle Haggerty passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at Hospice of Hope Care Center in Maysville.
Darlene was born on May 23, 1941, at Tollesboro, a daughter of the late Ruben and Lena Hackworth.
She was retired from Browning Manufacturing and attended Grace Baptist Church in Maysville.
Darlene is survived by her husband, John Haggerty; two daughters Leslie (Tim) England of Davenport, Iowa and Denise (Tim) Harover of Richmond; four grandchildren, Megan (Zachary) Senger of East Moline, Ilinois, Ryan (Emily) England of Dubuque, Iowa, Christopher (Amber) Harover of Richmond, and Nicholas (Savannah) Harover of Lexington; and one great-grandson, Nicholaus England.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Leslie “Doc” Tolle; her sister, Vina Carver; and two brothers, Raymond and William Hackworth.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday, October13, 2025, at Tollesboro Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 11918 KY 57 at Tollesboro, with Grace Baptist Church Pastor Larry Manning officiating.
Visitation will be after 1:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hillcrest Garden of Memories.
