Darrell Thomas Stidam, 64, of Quincy, passed away Saturday, October 28, 2017, at the Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio.
He was born December 8, 1952, in Lewis County, a son of the late Winston Thomas and Vivian Agnes Sparks Stidam.
Darrell was of the Christian faith and an owner of Tire World. He enjoyed watching UK Basketball and spending time with his grandchildren.
Darrell is survived by a son, Danny Stidam of Quincy; a daughter, Stefanie Bolton (David) of McDermott, Ohio; four grandchildren, Brianna Stidam, Jadan Stidam, Branton Stidam and David Bolton II; five brothers, Allen Stidam (Susie) of Hillsboro, Kentucky, Monty Stidam (Leashia) of Vanceburg, Jeff Stidam (Angela) of Mt. Sterling, Kevin Stidam (Nancy) of Morehead, and Steven Stidam (Tina) of Vanceburg; one sister, Brenda Willoughby (Richard) of Vanceburg; and the mother of his children, Sheila Lewis Stidam. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 2, 2017, at Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg with Bro. Terry Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in Thomas Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 1, 2017, and after 9:00 a.m. Thursday at Dickerson Funeral Home, 110 West Second Street in Vanceburg.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
