Darrin Scott Knell, 39, of Vanceburg, passed away Wednesday evening, November 15, 2017, at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia.
He was born November 10, 1978, in Maysville, a son of the late Ralph and Pauline Davis Knell.
Darrin was a member of Vanceburg Christian Baptist Church and enjoyed going to church, singing, playing music, watching videos, and spending time with his family and friends.
Darrin is survived by his special friend, Heather Gilbert; two brothers, Danny Knell (Vonda) of Vine Grove, and Tony Knell of Vanceburg; and a sister, Tammy Cooley (David) of Vanceburg. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Joshua Cooley.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 18, 2017, at Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg with Bro. Carl Wells officiating. Burial will follow in Hamilton-Mawk Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 17, 2017, and after 9:00 a.m. Saturday at Dickerson Funeral Home, 110 West Second Street in Vanceburg.
Pallbearers will be Danny Knell, Tony Knell, Anthony Knell, Derek Knell, Chris Knell, Paul Carroll, and Richie Ford.
