Dawn “Nadene” Clark

Dawn “Nadene” Clark, 65, of Vanceburg, passed away Saturday July 16, 2016, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. Nadene was born in Lewis County November 3, 1950, to the late Weldon and Lorene Blanton Osborne.

She was a member of Bivens Chapel Church and was very active in choir and Bible School there. She attended the Kentucky Christian Conference where she assisted with youth activities. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, growing flowers, and crocheting. She loved her cats and dogs.

Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Delmore Clark, whom she married November 24, 1973; her sisters, Phyllis Napier of Mansfield, Ohio, Weldonna (Ray) Evans of Lucasville, Ohio, and a special sister MaryAnn Osborne (Newell) Lightner of Vanceburg; a sister-in-law, Shirley Rigdon of Vanceburg; a brother-in-law, Melburn Clark of Vanceburg; five nieces and six nephews, Donna, Chloe, Daniel, James, Gayle, Weldon, Stefan, Delena, Arnold, Ashley, and Nathaniel; special great-nieces and great-nephews, Brennan, Jessika, Jerrika, and Sammy; and two aunts, Gladys Ruggles, and Crystal Evans.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Vena Ruark; mother-in-law, Lizzie Clark; father-in-law, Orville Clark; and three aunts, Vena Lewis, Dorothy Combs, and Maggie Bond Clark.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday July 20, 2016, at  Bivens Chapel Church in Garrison with Rev. Ronnie Conley officiating. Burial will follow in Wearing Cemetery at Garrison.

Friends may call at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services Wednesday.
