Deanna Joyce Stone Polley, 83, of Mt. Olivet, passed away Monday, December 27, 2021, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Fort Thomas.
She was born in Lewis County on July 12, 1938, a daughter of the late William Jackson Stone and Margaret Teets Stone.
Deanna was a member of Vanceburg Christian Baptist Church. She enjoyed talking on the phone, watching TV, cooking, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and furbabies.
Survivors include a son, Chester Ray (Emily) Polley Jr.; two daughters, Shelia (Trampus) Brown and Julie (Roger) Thayer; five grandchildren, Lee, Dustin, AJ, Jacob, and Sofia; and three great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Samuel, and Luna. A host of other family members and friends also survive who will sadly mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Chester Ray Polley Sr.; two brothers, Lloyd Stone and Denny Stone; and one sister, Norma Ruckel.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 31, 2021, at Dickerson Funeral Home, 110 West Second Street in Vanceburg, with her grandson Lee McClurg officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery on Little Cabin Creek.
Friends may visit from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 30, 2021, and from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of services on Friday at Dickerson Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Lee McClurg, Dustin Wilson, AJ Polley, Jacob Polley, Trampus Brown, and Roger Thayer.
