Debbie Lynn Mitchell Meredith, 60, of Vanceburg, passed away Friday, November 14, 2025, at Vanceburg Hills.
She was born December 25, 1964, in West Virginia, a daughter of the late Roby and Macy Blankenship Mitchell.
She enjoyed cooking – especially at Vanceburg Nursing Home for over 25 years – and spending time with her family.
Survivors include two sons, Jon (Amy) Meredith and Tommy (Debra) Meredith of Vanceburg; one sister, Patricia Thomas of Owingsville; one brother, Robert Mitchell of Morehead; eight grandchildren, Emily, Evan, Amber, Josh, Colton, Jacob, Michael, and Joshua; nine great-grandchildren, Ari, Axton, Antonio, Payton, Teagan, Kionni, Elli, Tucker, and Emerson; and a daughter-in-law, Renae Conley of Vanceburg. Many other family members and friends will sadly miss her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her companion of 17 years, David Hyrne; a son, Matthew Meredith; and a sister, Sheila Kay Mitchell.
A memorial service will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 23, 2025, at Veterans Memorial Park.
