Debra Howard, 63, of Tar Fork Road, passed away Monday, November 29, 2021, at her home.
She was born September 8, 1958, a daughter of the late Jesse and Avanelle Logan Howard.
Debra was a beloved school teacher of 36 years, with the last four years at Fleming County High School. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, crocheting, crafts, traveling, teaching her students, and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include one brother, Greg Howard (Vickie) of Grayson; one sister, Sharon Fultz (Jeffrey) of Middleburg, Florida; four nephews, Adam Fultz (Jessica), Brandon Fultz, Jesse Howard (Beth Ann), and Nicholas Howard; three nieces, Samantha Howard, Kaylee McNulty (Tyler), and Rachael Crofts (Travis); three great-nieces, Ella Grace McNulty, Emma Rose Crofts, and Kostyn Lyn Fultz; and one great-nephew, Liam Tyler McNulty. Many other family members and friends also survive. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Debra was preceded in death by one brother, Ronnie Howard.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 6, 2021, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel at Camp Dix with her brother, Gregory Howard, officiating.
Burial will follow in Mawk Cemetery on Tar Fork.
Friends may visit from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, December 5, 2021, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel, 7975 Lower Kinney Road at Camp Dix.
