Diana Lou Stone Clark, 63, of Laurel, went home to be with the Lord Thursday evening, October 20, 2016, at her home.

She was born May 7, 1953, in Portsmouth, Ohio, a daughter of Louise Fannin Stone and the late Curtis Stone.

Diana attended Saylor Branch Church of God. She was retired from the Lewis County Board of Education as a secretary at Laurel Elementary after serving 36 1/2 years. She enjoyed going to flea markets, reading, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her mother, Diana is survived by her husband of 41 years, Dale Clark; one daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Matt Bond of Laurel; two grandsons, Matthew Dale Bond and Samuel Reid Bond, both of Laurel; one brother and sister-in-law, Gary Curtis and Joyce Stone of Laurel; and her mother-in-law, June Garvin of Olive Hill. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 23, 2016, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel at Camp Dix with Bro. Jim Porter and Bro. Greg Owens officiating. Burial will follow in Morgan Cemetery at Head of Grassy.

Friends may visit from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Saturday, October 22, 2016, and until the service hour Sunday at Globe Family Funeral Chapel, 7975 Lower Kinney Road at Camp Dix.
