Dollie Mae Pierce Moore, 78, of Vanceburg, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018, at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.
She was born June 21, 1939, in Lewis County, a daughter of the late Russell Boyd and Alma Ola Mack Pierce.
Dollie was a member of Vanceburg Christian Baptist Church and had worked for US Shoe for 40 years. She enjoyed going to church, cooking, gardening, watching NASCAR, playing with her dog, Roxie, and spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren.
Dollie is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Imojean Moore of Wellington; a daughter, Rhonda Bloomfield of Vanceburg; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Robert E. Moore.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, March 18, 2018, at Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg with Bro. Roger Conley officiating. Burial will follow in Lewis County Memory Gardens at Black Oak.
Friends may visit from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Sunday, March 18, 2018, at Dickerson Funeral Home, 110 West Second Street in Vanceburg.
Pallbearers will be Cody Moore, Jake Horsley, Chris Moore, Rick Johnson, Chad Johnson, and Alex Johnson.
