Donald Cash Brown, 58, of Garrison, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2024, at his home.
He was born at Portsmouth, Ohio, December 30, 1965, a son of the late Joseph and Helen Spence Brown.
He served our country in the United States Army and was retired from the United States Postal Service.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 32 years Cheryl Sparks; one daughter, Tiffany Dawn (Russell) Gilliam of Greenup; three sons, Donald M. (Morgan) Brown of South Webster, Ohio, Isaac Brown of Garrison, and John Edward Sparks of Portsmouth, Ohio; one sister, Beverly (Roy) Tackett; three brothers, Delbert (Ginger) Brown, Joseph (Angie Wiesenhofer) Brown Jr., and Jerry (Cindy) Brown; and four grandchildren, Lucas Gilliam, Ashley Gilliam, Damon Sparks, and Alexis Sparks. Several other family members and friends also survive who will sadly miss him.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore. Burial will follow in Jamison Cemetery at Garrison.
Visitation for family and friends will be after 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Roberson Funeral Home.

PFC. Donald C. Brown was called to duty January 31, 1991, as part of Operation Desert Storm. He was injured in a trucking accident February 18, on the second day of the ground war as of the Liberation of Kuwait.
The accident occurred during the return trip from the Kuwaiti Border, about 30 miles from the border in Saudi Arabia. He sustained a compound fracture of the right leg and received multiple concussions to the head, remaining unconscious for three days after the accident.
He was stabilized at an EVAC hospital in Saudi Arabia before being transported to Germany and was then transported stateside. He remained hospitalized at Wright Patterson Air Force Base for several weeks.
Donald is a 1985 graduate of Lewis County High School. He had been on inactive reserve for the National Guard.
