Donald George Davis, 54, of Vanceburg, passed away Saturday morning, November 2, 2019, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio.
He was born January 15, 1965, in Portsmouth, Ohio, a son of the late William John “Jay” and Catherine Carver Davis.
Donald enjoyed watching UK Basketball, the Cincinnati Reds and Ohio State football, and spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren.
Donald is survived by his wife of 26 years, Kimberly Dermon Davis; four sons, Coty Dermon (Ashley Witten), Corey Davis (Christin) and Jordan Davis, all of Vanceburg, and Jadi Davis of Cincinnati, Ohio; two brothers, John Davis of Vanceburg, and Greg Hall of South Point, Ohio; five sisters, Tammy Spencer of Tyler, Texas, Cindy Shepherd of Vanceburg, Tonya Mustard of Toledo, Ohio, Terena Tackett, and Gwen Roche, both of South Portsmouth; and two grandchildren, Brody Dermon and Emma Davis. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Joe Farris, Terry Farris, and Eddie Farris.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 6, 2019, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel at Garrison with Bro. John Stamper and Bro. Clarence Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Lewis County Memory Gardens at Black Oak.
Friends may visit from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 5, 2019, and after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday at Globe Family Funeral Chapel, 103 Dudley Avenue at Garrison.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
