Donald Edward Fugate Sr., 76, of Quincy, passed away Sunday morning, April 3, 2016, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
He was born July 24, 1939, in Lewis County, a son of the late Charles and Edith Redmond Fugate.
Donald was a member of the Quincy Church of Christ and was a retired general manager with FA Kohler Building Supply. He enjoyed UK Basketball, NASCAR racing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Janice Eileen Ruckel Fugate.
Donald is survived by one son, Donald Fugate Jr. of Quincy; three brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; several nieces and nephews; and his special pet dog, Pugsley.
Services will be at Noon Saturday, April 9, 2016, at the Quincy Church of Christ in Quincy with Bro. Danny Bentley officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery in Quincy.
Friends may visit after 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 9, 2016, at the Quincy Church of Christ.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
