The Lewis County Board of Education has named Donald W. Pace as acting/interim superintendent until a new superintendent is named.

Board Chair Bryan McRoberts said Pace was chosen based on his experience working with school districts.
Pace is a former superintendent of Clark County Schools and has served as short-term superintendent for districts in Mason, Campbell and Montgomery counties.
He is presently serving as interim superintendent for the Campbell County School System. His eight-month contract there will end June 30.

“He is what we need right now,” McRoberts said. “He has years of experience working with school districts, and we just believe him to be the best fit for us at this time.”
