Donna J. Polley Fite, 57, of West Portsmouth, Ohio, passed away Saturday, August 5, 2023, at Southern Ohio Medical Center Hospice Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. Her family was at her side.
Donna was born in Lewis County on September 20, 1965, a daughter of the late Roy and Beatrice Flinders Polley. She was a homemaker and liked watching old sci-fi movies and doing puzzles. She was of the Christian faith.
Left to cherish memories of Donna are a daughter, Tammy Polley of West Portsmouth, Ohio; a son, Justin Cooper of Maysville; six sisters, Kathy Jordan and Sheila (Jerry) Cooper of Vanceburg, Lodena McGlone of Carter County, Lisa Mittic and Missy (James) McClurg of Shelbyville, and Sandra (Bill) Bell of Columbus, Ohio; one brother, Ray (Amanda) Polley of Vanceburg; and four grandchildren, Tyson Pack, Gavin Pack, Maddison Pack, and Gage Cooper. Several nieces, nephews, and other family members also survive who will mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Delta Dawn Applegate and Tammy Lynn Polley, and a nephew, Coy Jordan.
A memorial service will be Friday, August 11, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Gaydos Funeral Home, 159 Second Street in Vanceburg. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
