Dorothy Irene Ginn, 55, of Vanceburg, passed away Wednesday morning, February 24, 2016, at Meadowview Regional Medical Center in Maysville.
She was born December 29, 1960, in Lewis County, a daughter of the late Cecil and Ruby Faye Kennedy Ginn.
Dorothy was a homemaker and enjoyed watching game shows on TV, working puzzle books, and doing embroidery.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Billy Ginn and one sister, Betty Kinney.
Dorothy is survived by two brothers, Orville “Jack” Ginn and Steven Ginn and his companion, Megan Nelson, all of Vanceburg; and three sisters and a brother-in-law, Sophia Fite and Katie Ginn, both of Vanceburg, and Sadie and Bob Hackworth of Portsmouth, Ohio. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
Services were at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 28, 2016, at Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg with Bro. Wes Cooper officiating. Burial was in Hackworth Cemetery on Salt Lick Road.
Family and friends served as pallbearers.
