Elnora Fannin

Elnora Blankenship Fannin, 90, of Vanceburg, passed away Monday, August 23, 2021, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland.

She was born January 3, 1931, in Lewis County, a daughter of the late George Blankenship and Nancy Lewis Blankenship.

Elnora was a member of Laurel Point Christian Holiness Church. She enjoyed dirt track racing, camping, traveling and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandbabies.

She is survived by one daughter, Heather (Larry) Wright of Vanceburg; one brother, Carl Blankenship of Mt. Gilead, Ohio; one sister, Margarett Chinn of Mansfield, Ohio; two grandchildren, Larry Dean Wright and Deidra Marie Wright; and two great-granddaughters, Emma Grace Wright and Maya Faith Wright. A host of other family members and friends also survive who will sadly mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Elnora was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Arnold D. Fannin; five brothers, George Blankenship, James Blankenship, Sanderis Blankenship, Vernon Blankenship, and Thomas Blankenship; and three sisters, Rena Chinn, Geneva Blankenship and Betty Thomas.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 27, 2021, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel at Camp Dix with Bro. Jerry Jordan officiating. Burial will follow in Morgan Cemetery at Head of Grassy.

Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour on Friday at the Funeral Home.
