Emma Louise Kenyon Flinders, 75, of Vanceburg, passed away Wednesday evening, December 27, 2017, at Hospice of Hope at Kenton Pointe in Maysville.
She was born September 20, 1942, in Lewis County, a daughter of the late Earl and Eva Miller Kenyon.
Emma had worked for US Shoe and was a homemaker. She enjoyed shopping, going out to eat, yard sailing, and spending time with her family and especially with her grandchildren.
Emma is survived by her husband of 55 years, Glenn Wayne Flinders; three sons, Allen Flinders and Brady Flinders, both of Vanceburg, and Mark Flinders of Black Oak; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one brother, James Kenyon of Vanceburg. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Terry Flinders; and three sisters, Mandy Kenyon, Mildred Ames, and Tricie Riley.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 1, 2018, at Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg with Bro. Arthur Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery at Vanceburg.
Friends may visit from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 1, 2018, at Dickerson Funeral Home, 110 West Second Street in Vanceburg.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
