Ernie Jackson McCleese, 65, of Garrison, passed away Thursday, May 18, 2023, at his home.
He was born in Lewis County May 2, 1958, a son of the late George Thomas and Stella Cooper McCleese.
Ernie was a farmer and enjoyed traveling, trading guns, loafing, and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include one brother, Kenneth (Harriett) McCleese of South Shore. Many other family members and friends also survive who will sadly miss him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Vernon McCleese, and one sister, Rita McCleese.
A graveside service for Ernie McCleese will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 9, 2023, in Soldier Cemetery at Garrison with Bro. Jim Potter officiating.
