Evelyn Jean Bellamy Griffitt, 67, of Tollesboro, passed away Friday, May 15, 2025, at Hospice of Hope Care Center in Maysville.
She was born in Mason County on November 29, 1957, a daughter of the late Cecil and Emma Rodgers Bellamy.
She enjoyed collecting antiques.
Survivors include two daughters, Shannon (Randy) Morgan of Tollesboro and Jennifer (Jason) George of Carlisle; a son, Matthew Sweet of Shreveport, Louisiana; one sister, Jane Baker of Maysville; two brothers, Wayne Bellamy of Troy, Ohio, and Paul (Glenda) Bellamy of Tollesboro, six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Many other family members and friends also survive who will sadly miss her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded by one sister, Wilma Wilson, and four brothers, Donnie Bellamy, Ronnie Bellamy, Cecil Bellamy, and Bill Bellamy.
There will be no service at this time.
