Fire destroys Rock Run home

Officials are investigating the cause of a fire that destroyed a home on Rock Run Sunday night.
Emergency dispatchers were notified of the fire about 9:20 p.m. Sunday.
Firefighters from Lewis County, Black Oak and Vanceburg fire departments responded to the call on Rock Run Road about two miles from Ky. Rt. 59.
The residents, Jeanie Hobbs Thurman and Drew Thurman, were not at home when the fire started.
The cause of the fire is thought to be electrical but has not yet been officially determined.
