Galen D. Ratliff, 76, of Quincy, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2023, at his residence.
He was born Sunday, August 25, 1946, in Lewis County, a son of the late Truman and Belva Sturgill Ratliff.
Galen proudly served his country in the United States Army. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Doris Ratliff; three daughters, Delrita (Timbo) Munion of Sciotoville, Ohio, Lisa Marie (Dean) Kelly of Dixon, Tennessee, and Laura Ratliff of Marion, Ohio; seven grandchildren; three sisters, Patricia Porter of South Portsmouth, Ohio, Avery (Joe) Roland of Bradenton, Florida, and Lois (Dan) Markland of Martinsville,Virginia; and many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Chuck Ratliff and Jerry Ratliff; and four sisters, Norma Jean Roberts, Diane Ratliff, Terry Ratliff, and Joy Ratliff.
At the family’s request, there will be no service.
