Garry Dewayne “Apples” Applegate, 59, of Vanceburg, passed away, Sunday, December 11, 2022, at his home.
He was born in Mason County on January 18, 1963, a son of Sherrel Applegate Truesdell.
Garry enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, playing his guitar and playing pool with his friends.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his companion, Lorie Thurman, and two sisters, Pamela Truesdell of Trinity Station and Laura Clark of Augusta. Many other family members and friends also survive who will sadly miss him.
Services will be at Noon Saturday, December 17, 2022, at Tollesboro Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 11918 KY 57 at Tollesboro, with Bro. John Byard officiating. Burial will follow in East Fork Cemetery.
Friends may visit after 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 17, 2022, at Tollesboro Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
Pallbearers will be Larry Joe Beckley, Kelly Applegate, Roach Simms, Chad Johnson, Jason Tolle, and Jerry Clark II.
