Gary Curtis Angel, 80, of Vanceburg, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at his home.
Gary was born on June 1, 1945, at St. Paul, a son of the late Clifford and Ethel Jordan Angel.
He was a sheet metal worker for Local 98 and 124 for many years and was a 58-year member of the Harrison Fullerton Masonic Lodge #937.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Wanda Warren Angel; and six children, Kevin (Rayetta) Angel of South Shore, Tonya (Cedric) Howard of South Portsmouth, Jason (Lindsey) Angel of Xenia, Ohio, Travis Warren of Firebrick, Tracy (Keith) Bivens of Garrison, and Belinda (Rodney) Ginn of Vanceburg.Â
Gary loved 21 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. He is also remembered by three brothers, Roger (Peggy) Angel, Calvin (Vanessa) Angel, and Rick (Kathy) Angel, as well as many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Harlan and Michael Angel.
A private memorial service will be at the convenience of the family.
Gary is under the care of Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home in South Shore.
