George Edward Clark, 80, of Quincy, passed away Friday, May 17, 2024, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio.
He was born in Lewis County on December 8, 1943, a son of the late George Leslie and Garnett Mae Thompson Clark.
George enjoyed gardening, raising chickens, logging, staying home, and spending time with his family.
Survivors include one daughter, Melissa Clark of Garrison; two sons, Steven Wayne (Angel) Clark and Kippie Lee (Nina) Clark of Garrison; one sister, Dollie Marie Porter of South Shore; one brother, Charles Morton Clark of South Shore; 11 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. Many other family members and friends also survive who will sadly miss him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Ollie Mae Wright, and two brothers, James Clinton Clark and Clifford Clark.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2024, in Crystal Dawn Cemetery at Quincy with Sister Wilma Erwin officiating.
