Mrs. Georgia Manns Toller, 97, of Vanceburg, passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at her residence.
Georgia was born Wednesday, September 17, 1924, in Logan County, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Arthur Manns and Didamie McCoy Toller.
Georgia was a member of Black Oak Christian Church. She was an employee at Foodland in Vanceburg for 33 years. Georgia enjoyed traveling, cooking, sewing, needle work, reading her Bible and spending time with her family and friends.
Georgia is survived by two sons, Claude Thomas (Beverly) Toller and Carl (Patty) Toller, both of Vanceburg; one daughter, Sharon Flinders of Pickerington, Ohio; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one sister, Dorothy McCleese of Vanceburg; and one daughter-in-law, Norma Toller of Petersville. A host of other family members and friends also survive who will sadly mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Claude Wilson Toller; one son, Luther Marshall “Bud” Toller; one step-daughter, Louise Bennett; one son-in-law, Glenn Flinders; three brothers, Wiley Manns, Homer Manns, and Maurie Toller Jr.; and two sisters, Louise McCann and Edna Toller.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, September 11, 2022, at Black Oak Cemetery in Lewis County with Bro. James R. Girdwood officiating.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
