Geraldine Hardymon Lykins, 81, of Tollesboro, died Saturday, April 2, 2016, at her residence.
Mrs. Lykins was the widow of Charles Milton Lykins Jr. who died September 12, 2015.
She was a member of Burtonville United Methodist Church, a farmer, landowner and homemaker. Mrs. Lykins was born in Lewis County April 18, 1934, the daughter of the late Delbert and Oleta Rigdon Hardymon.
She is survived by one daughter, Donna Earlywine (Clarkie) of Ewing; three sons, Bobbie Lykins (Carla) of Tollesboro, Timothy Lykins (Brenda) of Oak Ridge, and David Lykins (Tammy) of Burtonville; four grandchildren, Josh Lykins, Jason Lykins, Kayla Robinson and Jeremy Lykins; two step-grandchildren, Jeff Earlywine and Jennifer Earlywine; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Joann Hester of Vanceburg; one sister-in-law, Bette Simpson of Crestview Hills, and special caregivers.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Orville Hardymon, and a sister, Della Hardymon, who both died in infancy.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at Barbour and Son Funeral Home in Tollesboro with Rev. Phil Cropper officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Garden of Memories.
Pallbearers will be Josh Lykins, Jason Lykins, Jeremy Lykins, Tanner Hord, Newt Robinson and Clarkie Earlywine. Honorary Pallbearers will be McKenley Lykins, Brody Lykins, Shelby Lykins, Tripp Robinson, Wyatt Lykins and Abel Lykins.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday at Barbour and Son Funeral Home in Tollesboro.
