Greg Applegate

Gregory Lee Applegate, 55, of Tollesboro, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Hospice of Hope in Flemingsburg.

He was born in Mason County on September 15, 1968, a son of Sue Hamilton Applegate of Maysville, and Gary Ronald and Patricia Applegate of Tollesboro.

Greg enjoyed working on and pulling lawn tractors, and was always ready to jump in a Ford to go for a ride and tell you about his love for Ford vehicles.

In addition to his parents, survivors include two sisters, Tracy Applegate (Gordon Ruggles) of Tollesboro and Amanda Fugate of Flemingsburg; and five brothers, Ronnie (Sharon) Applegate, Joseph Applegate (Crystal), Gary Allen Applegate, and Curtis (Shannon) Applegate of Tollesboro, and Jordan (Kayla) Applegate of Vanceburg. Many other family members and friends also survive who will sadly miss him.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Tollesboro Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 11918 KY 57 at Tollesboro, with Bro. Terry Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Applegate Family Cemetery at Tollesboro.

Friends may visit from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, May 3, 2024, and after 9:00 a.m. Saturday, May 4, 2024, at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Weston Applegate, Collin Applegate, Dylan Ruggles, Jace Ruggles, Jeremy Tully, and Mark McCann Jr.

Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Pollitt, Jordan Applegate, and Gary Allen Applegate.
