Gregory Allen Zornes, 67, of Emerson, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead.
He was born February 17, 1957, at Bucyrus, Ohio, a son of Lillian Stafford Zornes of Emerson and the late Clayton Zornes.
Greg was a member of Trace Fork Christian Holiness Church. He enjoyed singing, gardening, traveling, family dinners, and spending time with his family.
In addition to his mother, Greg is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Carolyn McDowell Zornes; one daughter, Jessi Ann Zornes of North Carolina; one son, Gregory Lee (Patricia) Zornes of Emerson; one sister, Sandra Butler of Emerson; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Many other family members and friends also survive who will sadly miss him.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Roe.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 29, 2024, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel, 17277 Lower Kinney Road at Camp Dix, with Bro. Terry Cooper officiating.
