Helen Brady Trumbo

Helen Lee Brady Trumbo, 89, of Tollesboro, passed away Friday, November 29, 2019, at Maysville Nursing and Rehabilitation.

She was born July 17, 1930, in Lexington, a daughter of the late Stanley W. and Edith McGee Brady.

Helen was a member of the Hickory Grove Church and enjoyed cooking, going to church and spending time with her family.

She is survived by two sons, Emerson Ford (Marion) of Maysville, and Steven Swartz (Wanda) of Cookville, Tennessee; three daughters, Donna Henson (Thomas) of Maysville, Frances Burnett and Rhonda Mack (DJ), of Tollesboro; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 29 years, Howard Trumbo; two children, Jerry Wayne Swartz and Renata Gail McBride; three brothers, Harry Brady, Stanley Brady and Walter Brady; and one sister, Emma Brady.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 2, 2019, at Tollesboro Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Bro. David Hickerson officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Tabor Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 2, 2019, at Tollesboro Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 11918 KY 57 at Tollesboro.

Pallbearers will be Stewart Swartz, Brent Applegate, Scottie Swartz, Jim Berning, Tanner Applegate, and DeWayne Walker.
