Hilda Fay Reynolds McGlone, age 93, of Vanceburg passed away Thursday, October 4, 2018, at her home.
She was born January 23, 1925, in Logan, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Luther and Ada Lewis Reynolds.
Hilda was a 70-year member of Trace Fork Christian Holiness Church. She enjoyed going to church, cooking for her family and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Hilda is survived by three sons, Ronald McGlone of New Richmond, Ohio, Wayne McGlone of Bucyrus, Ohio, and Charles Ellis McGlone of Sycamore, Ohio; two daughters, Rose Applegate of Vanceburg, and Bonnie Wallace of Canton, Michigan; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Rosemary Davis of Cincinnati, Ohio. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Ervin McGlone; one daughter, Barbara Lambert; two grandchildren, Nettie McGlone and Jason Applegate; one sister Elizabeth Galliher; two daughters-in-law, Frances McGlone and Fredia McGlone; and three sons-in-law, Elwood Lambert, Aubry Applegate and Darrell Wallace.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg with Bro. Ralph Jordan, Bro. Charles McGlone and Bro. Terry Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in Riley Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at Dickerson Funeral Home, 110 West Second Street in Vanceburg.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
