Howard Bruce Collier Jr., 77, of Garrison, passed away Friday, May 14, 2021, in Lewis County.
He was born September 6, 1943, in Lewis County, a son of the late Howard Bruce Collier Sr. and Shirley Foreman Collier.
Howard attended Christ Open Bible Church and Spy Run House of Prayer and enjoyed going to church, fishing, CB radios, riding his bicycle and spending time with his family.
Howard is survived by one son, Allen Bruce Collier (Lisa) of Greenup; two brothers, Manneth Collier of Quincy, and Charles Collier of Willard; two sisters, Geraldine Thurman and Teresa Lewis both of Garrison; and several nieces and nephews who adored him. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Monica Larkin Collier; one infant son; and one brother, Duane Lee Collier.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 20, 2021, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel at Garrison with Bro. Ben Collier officiating. Interment will follow in Skidmore Cemetery at Garrison.
Friends may visit from 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. Thursday, May 20, 2021, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel, 103 Dudley Avenue at Garrison.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
