Imogene Rickett Stone, 69, of Vanceburg, passed away Saturday morning, October 8, 2016, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio.

She was born May 10, 1947, in Lewis County, a daughter of the late Arthur and Lorene Bloomfield Rickett.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Dallas Rickett and Carl Bivens; and a sister, Ida Rickett.

Imogene was of the Pentecostal faith, owner/operator of Skaggs Grocery and was a foster grandmother. She enjoyed auctions, yard sales, going out to eat, watching TV ministries, and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

Imogene is survived by two sons and a daughter in-law, Brian and Brakenda Stone, and Marshall Stone all of Vanceburg; one daughter, Melissa Stone of Vanceburg; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Harlan Rickett of Camp Dix, and Thurston Clark of Grayson; a special friend, James Madden of Vanceburg; and many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 11, 2016, at Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg with Bro. Tony Corns and Bro. Daniel Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Bloomfield Family Cemetery on Dummitt Branch.

Friends may visit from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, October 10, 2016, and until the service hour on Tuesday at Dickerson Funeral Home, 110 West Second Street in Vanceburg.

Pallbearers will be Nathan Stone, Brian Stone, Brandon Stone, Dustin Stone, Brian Bonner and Hunter Bonner.
