Iva Moore Madden, 78, of Greenup, passed away Saturday morning, July 24, 2021, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio.
She was born October 4, 1942, in Lewis County, a daughter of the late Robert Moore and Maudie Hicks Moore.
Mrs. Madden was a lifelong homemaker and member of Wright’s Chapel Church. She enjoyed going to church, reading her Bible, and spending time with her family, especially her two granddaughters.
She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years Roger Madden; one son, Chris (Teresa) Madden of South Shore; one brother, Clarence Moore of Shelbyville; and three sisters, Vada Moore of Quincy, Verlia Moore of Greenup County, and Irene Kiser of Garrison.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Sterling Moore, Stanley Moore and Chester Moore.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 30, 2021, at Wright’s Chapel Church in Garrison with Bro. Larry Madden and Bro. Morgan Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Moore Family Cemetery on McDowell Road at Garrison.
Friends may visit from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Thursday, July 29, 2021, and until the hour of services Friday at Wright’s Chapel Church.
