Jack Wayne Cushard, 72, of Flemingsburg, passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Lewis County on April 19, 1953, a son of the late William and Verna Harris Cushard.
Jack was a truck driver for 51 years and loved the open road. He attended Freewill Baptist Church in Flemingsburg. He enjoyed watching car racing, westerns, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Linda Gilliam Cushard; two daughters, Jackie King of Flemingsburg and Julie (John) James of Laporte, Indiana; one son, Darrin (Emily) Cushard of Flemingsburg; one sister, Cathy (Joey) Clark of Portsmouth, Ohio; four brothers, Jerry Cushard, Johnny Cushard, and Timmy (Crystal) Cushard of Vanceburg, and Mark (Cheryl) Cushard of Fulton, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Caleb, Kayleana, Mikaila, Frankie, Austin, Andrew, and Gracie; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Sarah Dawn Cushard; and two sisters, Barbara Ann Cushard and Mary Cushard McClurg.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 11, 2025, at Tollesboro Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 11918 KY 57 at Tollesboro, with Bro. Joe Watson officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery on Holly.
Visitation will be after 11:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Caleb Gossner, Frankie King, Austin King, Andrew Cushard, Matthew Cooley, and Ryan Cushard.
Honorary pallbearers will be George Gilliam, Johnny Cushard, Davey White, and Grant Cushard.
