Jack Doyle Richmond

Jack Doyle Richmond, 76, of Maryville, Tennessee, formerly of Vanceburg, passed away Friday morning, June 1, 2018, at Blount Memorial Hospital in Maryville.

He was born May 15, 1942, in Saint Charles, Pennsylvania, a son of the late Joseph Arlin and Rose Hamilton Richmond.

Jack proudly served his country in the United States Navy and was of the Pentecostal faith. He worked until his retirement in construction and enjoyed doing yard work, fishing and spending time with his family.

Jack is survived by his companion of 17 years, Nancy Brooks of Port Richie, Florida; one brother, Tinker Richmond and his wife, Linda of Maryville, Tennessee; one sister, Georgia Maddix and her husband, Robert of Lexington; and one sister-in-law, Peg Richmond of Nectarine, Pennsylvania. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Bruce Richmond and Joel Richmond; and five sisters, Nina Richmond, Tina Petty, Jenivee McFadden, Martha Morgan, and Betty Jo Richmond.

A graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 8, 2018, in Hamilton Mawk Cemetery at Tar Fork with Bro. Tom Hamilton officiating. Full military honors will be accorded by Olive Hill American Legion Post 138.

Globe Family Funeral Chapel at Camp Dix is caring for all arrangements.
