Jamie Lynn “Buttons” Thurman Jr., 37, of Pleasant Ridge Road in Maysville, passed away Friday morning, December 7, 2018, at his home.
He was born October 4, 1981, in Battle Creek, Michigan, a son of Jamie Lynn and Rebecca Thurman of Maysville, and Mary Ann Sevarns and Randy Rethman of Manistique, Michigan.
Jamie was of the Pentecostal faith and enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Jamie is survived by a son, Parker Thurman Ingram of Wallingford; four brothers, Brian Thurman and Billy “BJ” Thurman of Vanceburg, Zackery Thurman and Dacqkary Thurman of Huston, Missouri; two sisters, Sheena Bonner of Garrison, and Desert Thurman of Huston, Missouri; three nieces; and five nephews. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Michelle Thurman.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 13, 2018, at Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg with Bro. Tony Corns officiating. Burial will follow in Evans Chapel Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 13, 2018, at Dickerson Funeral Home, 110 West Second Street in Vanceburg.
