Lebertia Jean Stamper Jordan, 66, of Garrison, went to her Heavenly home on Monday, October 24, 2022, unexpectedly.
She was born on February 20, 1956, in Preston County, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Stanley Riley Stamper and Dorothy Titchenell Stamper.
Jean was a woman of Christian beliefs, a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, especially playing classic board games and card games. She was a loving and caring supporter of her family and friends who will greatly miss her, but love and remember her kind heart.
Jean is survived by her children, Helen Jordan (Matthew) Evans of Maysville, William Jordan Jr. of Garrison, and Amy (Shawn) Saunders of Garrison; her grandchildren, Tina Jordan, John Jordan, Dylan Saunders, Ethan Saunders, and Isabella Saunders; four sisters, Linda (Bill) Tackett of Garrison, Mary (Junior) Thurman of Vanceburg, Racine Tackett of Olive Hill, Melissa (Jerry) Harding of Dover; two brothers, John (Dodie) Stamper of Garrison, Daniel (Tammy) Stamper of Camp Dix; and many other loved family member and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, William Russell Jordan.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 28, 2022, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel, 103 Dudley Avenue at Garrison, with Bro. John Stamper officiating. Burial will follow in Skidmore Cemetery at Garrison.
Friends may visit after 9:30 a.m. Friday, October 28, 2022, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel at Garrison.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Evans, Shawn Saunders, Dylan Saunders, Ethan Saunders, Tina Jordan, and John Jordan.
